Desert Hands was created by Katya Urban and I in October 2024 at the DIY music and art festival, Yipps, located in Joshua Tree. We invited friends at the festival to leave an impression on our canvas by placing their hands on cyanotype coated fabric. The process of creating this piece was one of bonding and connection; this final work, Desert Hands encapsulates these feelings.
